Group 1 was the first group to present this semester which can be a scary thing because you set the standards for the rest of the class. They presented Chapter 3 which is about Intercultural communications. It was very informative and it was interesting to learn about other cultures. What I enjoyed the most about Group 1’s presentation was the variety of visuals. They packed their
presentations with images, pie charts, quotes, and graphs. It was almost like they were all in sync. Sometimes when working in groups it’s difficult to have such an understanding where everyone knows exactly what the rest of the group expects from a project. It was great to see how this group's individuals all worked together so well. They came together like a puzzle in their first presentation with other people they had just met, it shows great teamwork. The amount of effort that went into this presentation was obvious. They were very informed on the topics they were presenting. It is very clear when someone just memorizes something, it comes off as if they were reading a script, however, they managed to present in a way that you knew they learned something. I personally like the individuals that made it seem like a casual conversation where your friend is telling you something she just learned in class. They did a great job from beginning to end.
Group 2 did not disappoint when it comes to group presentations. They had wonderful visuals that went along perfectly with the topics being presented which were They presented Chapter 9 which was about communicating in groups. You were able to see everyone’s unique way of presenting and styles. Some had few words in their presentation with lots of visuals, however, they did not need to write lengthy sentences for us to be able to tell that they knew what they were talking about. Others chose to write longer sentences yet still present in their own words showing their personal understanding of the topic. Their work was very organized and detailed. All the images and videos added were great visual representations that only made their presentation stronger. From Madagascar videos to lists with examples, they crossed all their T’s and dotted their I’s. The presentations were concise and to the point while still being very detailed. They did a great job of working as a group while still showing originality. There seems to be a certain standard set within the group. They all seem to expect great things from each other and work together very well. Everyone did a great job with the work itself and with the presentation. It is important for everyone to pull their own weight and try their best when working with others but also when working alone. Everyone in this group did great individually and even better as a whole. I was engaged the whole time and liked seeing everyone's styles of presenting.

I was lucky enough to work with Group 3 in this presentation where we presented Chapter 10. This chapter was about leadership and went talked about working in groups. I was able to see everyone’s individual work coming together piece by piece. It’s fascinating seeing first-hand how everyone’s mind works and how their creativity flows. The first day we got assigned into groups, we hosted a zoom meeting right after class to continue to discuss how we were going to work on this. Afterward, we communicated everything to the few people that couldn’t make it to the meeting, there was constant communication within the group from beginning to end. We let everyone choose their topics, it was fair, and there was always room for adjustments. We made sure everyone was included and understood what had to be done. Everyone was a big help during this project, and we all contributed to the best of our abilities. I feel like we have created a space where we all feel comfortable projecting our opinions and ideas to each other. No question went unanswered, and it was just great teamwork all throughout. It was a great collaboration and we figured everything out as a team. Everyone was free to do their topics however they chose, it was completely up to us with no judgment or criticism. We respect each other’s working process and creativity. The group works well together, everyone did their own work very well and most importantly it was on time. No one was late with their work or slacked off, all on the contrary I believe everyone did their best. It is a group of people that know how to work well with others as well as individually. I have had the opportunity to work with other groups in previous courses where the group didn’t get along too well. Luckily, that was not the case for this group, we are all very mature, and we all want to get our work done. Everyone is so willing to help, the group makes it easy to ask for help when we need it. I feel like we had a lot of visuals, and we all knew our topics from beginning to end. We knew exactly what we wanted from our presentation and what was expected from each of us. After seeing everyone’s work beginning to come together in the google document, it was even better seeing all of us present it. When working with a group, you get to see everyone’s effort coming through, you get to see images getting deleted, videos being added, drafts being worked on, you see the whole build-up leading to the final work. I got to see the effort everyone put into the project, so I was rooting for my group members during our presentation from beginning to end. Seeing the people, you have been working with and that you will be continuing to work with for the semester present, gives you an insight into how they work and like to do things. It helps you understand them better. It’s a very supportive group that works great together. I may be biased but I enjoyed our presentation, it was very detailed and although we couldn’t play our videos, it was still very informative. I look forward to continuing to work with this group and continue to grow as a group.
